The Birthday Gift

A friend of mine was throwing a birthday party for her son. This year, she informed me, he was into magic. So I set out to the store to buy magic cards for his gift. At the store, they had such a variety of magic cards I didn’t know which to choose. Finally, I made a choice and had it gift wrapped. At the party, he opened my gift for him and began to laugh. I was worried I made the wrong choice. Then he exclaimed, “I’ve wanted these forever! How did you know? This is the best birthday gift ever!”
