The Steamboat Willie film was also included on the DVD title Vintage Mickey, a collection of black-and-white cartoons.It was hardly surprising that Mickey Mouse would soon featured in a video game. Steamboat Willie also provided the basis for the first level of the video game Mickey Mania:The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse. The game was released on the Super Nintendo, Sega CD and Sony PlayStation consoles.And also in the Disney game Kingdom Hearts I I,. Versions of the characters appear in a Steamboat Willie inspired world.How a 1920s cartoon has spawned such a huge market for Mickey Mouse Toys and games is beyond me.
