How i spent my money saved from dog food coupons
December 2, 2009 3:24 am HomeWhen I was young and single I had a dog. And my girlfriend also had a dog that she liked to take on adventures. On weekends we would sometimes go camping outside the city and would bring our pets. This was not car camping, this was hiking and camping in the woods into wilderness. So we would have to pack our dog food for the journey as well. Luckily, I had found some great dog food coupons that allow us to save a great deal of money when buying pet food. But the downside was that someone had to carry the food in the dog. But some of the money we saved we bought the dogs their own little backpacks. We were sort of like saddles.You could fit dog food in each side of the satchel and put on the back of the dog. In fact you could also put water in those packs. It was surprising how much of a load these dogs could carry. Of course they were larger animals. There were Labrador retrievers and were able to lift a fair amount of weight. After a while they became so good that they could carry water for us in addition to the dog food and water they needed. Thank goodness for those dog food coupons to allow us to save up the money to buy those doggie backpacks.
