My Credit Cards Are Maxed

Last year I lost my job and I had to use my credit card to help pay for some of my living expenses.  Unfortunately, I got a little bit in debt and now I have trouble paying my minimum payment.  Any extra money I have usually goes towards my card, but I decided to get one of those prepaid cards and put some money torts it as well.  If I figured this way if I do need money for an emergency in the future it would be there for me if without me having to charge my credit card back up.
