Mixing Design Styles
July 18, 2010 7:37 am Home and FamilyLast week was our big blow-out furniture sale at our retail store at the mall. We had a great crowd and some really good sales. I think the the Modern Furniture sold a bit better than the traditional. It seems that more young people are captured by sleek and modern furniture lines than by the more heavy and bulky traditional pieces. I like both styles, depending on what room I am decorating. For example, a traditional bedroom can be so rich and luxurious looking, while a dining room that is modern speaks of energy and sophistication. When I finally get my own place, I’m going to mix both styles for my own personal design.
