Another skin disease is Actinic Keratosis. Actinic Keratosis or solar keratosis is known as a premalignant condition that consists of thick, scaly, or crusty patches of skin. It usually occurs in fair-skinned people and is associated with frequent sun exposure. Some of them progress to a squamous cell carcinoma. Some of experts suggest that if an individual have such this kind of disease then they should be treated because of the high risk. The growths start out as flat scaly areas, and later grow into a tough, wart-like area that is thick and crusty. They usually range in size from 2 and 6 millimeters in size. Sometimes they appear in the hand and scalp where it is exposed in the sun.
