The feeling you get on the top of Google
August 21, 2010 8:04 am BusinessBing on the top of Google has got to be one of the best experiences I have had. My websites are often right up there. At the top. And every time I see that I get a warm glow — because I know this will translate into sales. When people go looking of Google or the other search engines for a product or service, they will often find a site that is good enough for their purposes on page one. So why would they look further afield? they don’t. They stay on the first page. Google rewards them with a quality selection of websites right there at the top of the search results. And they reward Google by clicking off to those sites and doing their business there. So you do need to be on the top of Google.
