Some of the Old Greats
November 17, 2009 12:31 pm ArtsMy best friend loves listening to old records. She says the classics are the best songs ever. She is a big fan of Boston, Journey, Styx and Kansas. She enjoys listening to new music as well, but she loves the old stuff more. Recently, she went to go see Styx live in concert. She was amazed at all the younger people who were there. She didn’t think they would know any of the lyrics but, to her surprise, they did. She was so excited to realize that her kind of music still lives on, and that younger people are giving it a chance.
